CUO
Nanomaterials(NMs) are drawing the attention of a large number of active economic sctors due to their potential in a wide range of applications. In parallel, there is a great interest to determine the toxicity of NMs, since various studies have indicated their toxic effect to biological systems. In this work CuO and SnO NPs were synthesized and they were characterized using advanced microscopic techniques, in order to evaluate the toxid effect of NPs in E. coli ATCC 4157. the NPs toxicity was evaluated by exposing different concentrations of CuO (10-200ppm) and SnO (10-300ppm) to E. Coli The cell activity was determined through plate couting (Milles-Misrra technique) and minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) assay (using resazurine as activity indicator).
