| In the city of Aldama, Chihuahua, Mexico a plant was installed for milling uranium ore. This plant called URAMEX, processed ore for a period of 4 years, starting in 1983 and ending in 1987. The concentrations of radionuclides of uranium and thorium released to air by the milling process were estimated. | |
